Sid's Story

Sid is our ten year old son with Down Syndrome. We did not know before he was born that he would have DS, we were given his diagnosis soon after his birth. We were introduced to the world of genetics, oxygen levels and other health issues, and life in the NICU. My husband and I had no idea what life would be like for him or for us. We have learned so much from him about the way life should be for everyone. Despite many challenges, he enjoys his family, friends, pets, baseball, golf and swimming.
